Chapter 2

"Get me information on the Wilson family and where they've taken my wife. I need it within the next 30 minutes," Tyler instructed.

"I'll begin right away, sir," the receiver responded before Tyler ended the call. He then moved closer to his teary-eyed daughter, and embraced her tenderly.

Arianna was forcefully laid on a hospital bed, struggling to get down, but the Wilson's guards weren't offering any assistance. They handcuffed her hands to the bed.

"Let go of me!" she yelled.

"Lower your voice if you don't want me to shut you up," the butler threatened with a frown.

Anyone would be scared out of their wits staring at the butler's deep frown, the long scar above his left eyebrow gave him a scarier look, but Arianna wasn't fazed - all she wanted was to be set free.

"Please let me go, I need to get out of here," she pleaded, but as expected all her pleas fell on deaf ears.

"You aren't leaving here until you donate your cornea. I'm not even sure it'll be possible for you to leave here," the butler said, a wicked smirk playing on his lips.

Tears streamed down Arianna's cheeks as she stared at him in horror. Realizing the true extent of her predicament, she couldn't pretend not being scared anymore as her lips tremble in fear.

"I don't want to do this!" she yelled frustratedly as the butler moved closer to her.

The butler's eyes gleamed with a sinister grin as he leaned in and his voice a chilling whisper in her ear, sending unpleasant shivers down her spine.

"Don't worry, my dear. After your cornea is donated, your body will be put to good use; we will take care of your body for you," he said before bursting into laughter.

He dragged her face closer to his, stared in her eyes for a moment with his sadistic smirk growing wider. His intention is clear to Arianna, she knew he's about to kiss her but her hands were cuffed and there's nothing she could do to stop him.

Arianna thought of spitting on the butler's face, but quickly restrained herself since that would incur his anger and he might hurt her.

But just when the butler was about to kiss her, the door swayed open, revealing Tyler. Tyler's eyes frantically scanned the room until they landed on Arianna and the butler. Seeing how uncomfortably close the butler stood next to Arianna, anger gushed through Tyler's veins and he couldn't stop himself from shaking.

With his fists tightly balled, he let anger took over his thoughts and charged towards the butler. The butler saw Tyler's angry face and tried to move away from Arianna but it was too late for him because Tyler already landed a heavy punch on his face that sent him flying almost across the room.

"How dare you!" Tyler roared.

Before the butler could recover from the first punch, Tyler rushed to him and landed another punch on his face. Turning to the watching guards, who looked scared, Tyler didn't hesitate. He punched and beat them all until they fell to their knees. Hurriedly, he moved closer to Arianna and removed the cuffs from her hands.

"F*ck!" Tyler cursed as he noticed the bruises on her body.

"I'm so sorry I came late," he said, embracing Arianna. She gently sobbed as she clung to him. Using her hand, she touched Tyler's face to confirm that he was real.

"I am sorry for taking so long, Arianna," Tyler pledged.

"I waited for you, I waited so much for you. I was disowned in the process, Tyler. My family disowned me, thinking I am a disgrace to them and the family. They called my daughter many hurtful names, including a bastard. What you did to us is unfair; it's not fair at all," Arianna said before bursting into tears again.

"I know I have wronged you, Arianna. I know I haven't been a good husband to you. I am truly sorry. I am back now. I will make it up to you and our daughter. I am very sorry that you had to go through this because of me. I don't have any excuses, only a sincere plea for your forgiveness."

"Don't worry, darling, I'll make sure all the people who did this to you pay. They will all face the consequences for laying their hands on you," Tyler assured her.

"Where's my daughter? Have you seen her? Where is she?" Arianna asked. A smile crept onto Tyler's face, knowing Arianna has been a loving mother to their daughter.

"Our daughter is safe," he replied before standing up from the chair beside Arianna, and moved closer to the butler.

"You will all pay with your lives," he stated firmly.

"Who are you to make me pay?" the butler asked.

Tyler nodded slowly as if he's making some calculations in his head, then he released a mysterious smirk.

"You want to know who I am?" He asked.

The guards who were watching in fear signaled the butler not to say anything, but Tyler was not heeding any signs. He grabbed the butler by his collar, making sure it's tightly wrapped around his neck, and watch him cough as he choked.

The butler struggled so hard to get away from Tyler, but Tyler's grip was too strong and the more he (the butler) struggle the weaker he gets. He was about losing consciousness when Tyler finally released his grip, and the butler gasped for air.

"I am going to use you and the guards...," Tyler said, pointing at the guards. "...as an example to the bastard behind you. You couldn't find someone else to donate corneas for your stupid ass, and you think my wife is the perfect candidate? That's so disrespectful, you know?"

"Ahh," Arianna winced in pain as she tried to stand up. Tyler rushed to her side to help her up before calling for the doctors. A doctor who was on standby outside the door walked into the room, and his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets at the scene before him.

"Check my wife, she's in pain," Tyler said. The doctor nodded before moving closer to Arianna, unable to believe that Tyler had managed to overpower the burly men in the ward.

"You also knew about this, right? You knew they forcibly brought a donor to this hospital, and you didn't say anything?" Tyler asked.

"I'm... sorry... I was threatened," the doctor whispered.

"Just take care of my wife before I decide what to do about you," Tyler replied firmly.

The doctor ran some tests on Arianna with a shaking hand. After a few minutes, he faced Tyler with his head bowed. "She's fine, aside from the bruises. She needs some rest; it seems she hasn't been resting well," the doctor said. Tyler sighed in relief.

"Let's leave here, Tyler," Arianna said, but Tyler shook his head in denial.

"I can't leave here until I make these people pay," Tyler insisted. He retrieved his phone from his pocket, dialed one of his men's numbers, and brought the phone closer to his ear.

"You guys can come inside now," he said before ending the call immediately. Just as if the men were waiting for his orders, they walked into the room and bowed their heads to Tyler as a sign of respect.

"Deal with them, don't have mercy on them," he instructed.

"Yes, General, we will do just that," they replied.

"Master General, we are sorry," the Wilson's guards said, and the butler's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets, making him shift uncomfortably on the floor.
