"What's going on here?" The beautiful lady asked and the security guard who had stood at attention cast an irritated glance at Robin.

"Good day, Miss Manager. I'm sorry for the disturbance but this poor man here has insisted on going into the VIP hall. We can't let that happen." The security guard said, in one breath.

On the other hand, Robin could only watch as he was being described. He felt embarrassed before the beautiful manager and he bowed his head, in shame.

"What do you mean he is poor?" The manager asked, in a curious tone as she looked at Robin from head to toe. Her gaze was piercing and she couldn't deny that he looked poor. However, she managed to lock up her thinking and not spill her words, carelessly.

"He claims he needs to be attended to but he keeps begging." The guard said, subtly hinting that Robin was begging him for money.

"That's not true!" Robin was quick to shout as he couldn't stand being slandered that way. He wondered why the guard was this way.

"What do you want, Mr?" The manager spoke up as she looked at Robin, directly. For a moment, she was tempted to send him away as his appearance disgusted her. How could someone appear at a bank dressed shabbily and stained with blood?

"I'm here to check my account balance as I have some money in my account. I need it done as soon as possible. However, your guard wouldn't let me in." Robin summoned up the courage to reply and table his grievances. He felt nervous in the face of the manager. What if in the end, the Squandering System turned out to be fake? He would definitely be thrown out of the bank. It wasn't hard to see that the manager also looked down on him but she was playing it cool.

"Oh, just your account balance?" The manager asked with an amused look and Robin nodded. He decided not to take the subtle mocks from the manager to heart. He was at the bank for something else.

"Sure, let's go in." The manager said as she gestured for Robin to walk in. She wasn't ready to destroy the image of the bank just because of a poor man. What if he turned out to be a potential client?

Slowly, she turned to the security guard, "Come with me." She ordered. He would come in handy when Robin's claims turned out to be false.

As Robin entered the VIP hall, he was overwhelmed with a certain chill. The AC was working perfectly but in the next minute, he started to feel sweaty. The workers there were all dressed to the nines and they looked at him with scorn. They looked so elegant while he looked out of place. He started to think if things went south, would he be disgraced before the graceful workers?

For a moment, Robin thought of running out and forgetting about the imaginary money. But then he had come too far to turn back now. He couldn't! He had to keep his hopes up!

"Please, take a seat! Can I get your ID as well?" He suddenly heard the manager say as he was pulled out of his thoughts. Swiftly, he sat in the waiting area while he passed his ID and the manager disappeared. The security guard was standing a few miles away with his eyes on Robin.

It was like the guard was speaking with his eyes, telling Robin he would throw him out soon.

Several minutes passed and they heard hurried footsteps. Robin's head snapped in the direction of the sound only to see the manager rushing toward them with a look of urgency.

"What's going on, Miss? Should I throw him out? Is he a fraud?" The security guard stepped forward and asked and immediately Robin swallowed. Was his fears finally coming true?

"Shut up!" The manager said to the guard and they were both taken aback.

Swiftly, she turned to look at Robin who had a bewildered look. "Mr. Robin Claire, I'm so sorry for the misunderstanding. The security guard must not have seen who you are." She said, in a meek tone as she bowed.

However, Robin was reeling in shock.

"Wh.. what's going on?" He asked, stutteringly as he stood up. Deep in his heart, he knew what was going on but then he still needed it to be confirmed.

"I mean, your balance showed $1 million. Your balance history has been sent to your email. Please, check it out." The manager replied and instantly Robin felt like he was on the moon.

"Boss, I think you must be mistaken." The security guard spoke up as he couldn't believe it. He didn't want to think that he had made a mistake.

"Shut up! You are fired for disrespecting a client! You are a bad image for the bank!" The manager said, directly with a livid look and Robin was taken aback.

So, he was rich! The Squandering System turned out to be really true!

Now, he couldn't be addressed as a poor man! He could stand up to all the rich students at school! That feeling was too good to be true and he burst into happy laughter!

On one hand, he was reeling in happiness, and on the other hand, he watched the guard being sent out of the building. It was so satisfying!

"Miss Manager..." Robin called out suddenly and she turned to look at him, with rapt attention.

"I want to invest the $1 million in any company!" He declared. He could recall that the system had told him to squander the money in three days. Investing was the most logical thing he could do.

With happy eyes, the manager suggested a few companies and in an hour, Robin invested.

As soon as he walked out of the bank with a happy face, the screen from earlier appeared before his eyes again.

[CONGRATULATIONS!!]

[Robin Claire, you have completed your first task and you have been rewarded with $5 million and also 3 squander points! You can always use your points to enhance your looks, body, and skills]

[Rule: Spend $5 million in three days, or else you will become poorer than the poorest!]

Robin heard those words in his head and he couldn't be happier! He was finally rich and he could spend on anything he wanted! Everyone would fall at his feet especially those who humiliated him!

"I want 1 point for my body and the rest for my looks and skills." He spoke up as he walked out of the bank happily. He couldn't wait to see the results of what he had requested.

An hour later, he was back home to wash up and as he looked into the mirror, he was shocked by what he saw.
